Romanian Prime Minister Victor-Viorel Ponta was harsly hit by allegations of plagiarism following an article published in the magazine Nature on Monday.
Apparently some other things might be wrong in Ponta’s education profile as the Premiere changed his Curriculum Vitae which had been posted on his personal page as well the websites of the Romanian Government and Chamber of Deputies.
According to a Hotnews article (ro-lang), Ponta removed from his updated CV, a Master in International Criminal Law obtained at the University of Catania, Italy, during his studies between March and June 2000.
“Victor Ponta lost a master in his resume”, says HotNews comparing Premier’s current biography with that posted a few months ago. “The new version of the CV uploaded recently on the website of the Government, does not show a master that would have been conducted in March-June 2000, at the University of Catania, Italy”, writes the news website.

"Nick has also taught at The Prince of Wales Drawing School in London, and in Norway, Copenhagen and Mexico City, while undertaking commissions throughout Europe and the U.S. His portraits are characterised by a dynamic contemporary interpretation of traditional motifs, based on the study of masters such as Van Dyck, Raeburn and Sargent."
He has been the Assistant Director of Charles Cecil Studios in Florence, Italy. He left for some time and then I think he returned and may be teaching there now. However, he is one of the best people to contact regarding drawing classes that focus on drawing from the live model including quick drawing and long-pose sight size

by skovgudIt takes years and years to study art like the masters were taught.
people aren't taught to mull paints before they are allowed to paint as part of any traditional art education program in the US or abroad not even today. Even Richard Lack did not teach that in Minneapolis. No hardcore painters were mulling their own paints and teaching their students in that way. Art students at the 20th century ateliers and now who were/are interested in preparing their own paints and mediums did it on their own time. that's even the way its done in Italy.

FAQ
Where to study italian in Italy?
I will go for a month in italy to study italian, but I can't decide where to go.
I already went briefly to Rome, naples and the amalfitan coast. (1 week)
I have it down to either 3 regions: toscana(florence), lazio(rome) or campania (naples).
I don't know which to choose, anyone has experiences?
I agree with the suggestion of "Politically Correct", but not because italian is purer in Tuscany than elsewhere.
The main reason is that in Tuscany the dialectal accent of spoken italian, albeit present and immediately detectable by those italians who hear someone from Tuscany speak, is less strong than in other parts of Italy.
By the way, nowhere in Italy the "pure" italian of the news speakers on TV is spoken: each and every region, province, city and town has its own dialectal accent that can be easily identified by italians.
Naples, Italy?
Does anyone have any cool facts about Naples? I'm doing a project on it and anything that has o do with Social Studies/History is especially appreciated. I also want to know how I could make the poster that I have to do with my project. I was thinking of a cool print in the background of a poster board and biug words Naples, Italy and a big collage of pictures of villages and stuff. Any pictures? Thanks alot! ☻
